US women's football team stars tell story of fight for equal pay in new film LFG
Football stars Megan Rapinoe and Jessica McDonald rested their cleats and walked the red rug at the premiere of documentary LFG at the Tribeca Film Festival, which tells the story of the fight for equal pay by the Us women's national team.
The players sued US soccer's governing body in 2022 over allegations of gender discrimination in compensation and near every other attribute of playing conditions.
Months subsequently, they won a 4th Earth Cup for the United States equally fans chanted "equal pay" during the 2-0 final triumph against the netherlands.

The title of the film comes from the team's rally cry before a match – "Let'south F***ing Go."
The film will premiere on The states streaming service HBO Max on Jun 24.
